Interspace Cloud offers a number of technologies that enable secure connections for your servers and other systems in the cloud, to and from outside networks such as the Internet.
1.Cloud VPN PointConnect
Individual computers from anywhere in the world can securely connect to the cloud private network using our
Cloud VPN PointConnect service. Once connected, they can access any of your virtual private servers, dedicated servers, and metro Ethernet endpoints using their private IPs.
The ingenious part is that multiple users can access any of the servers in your cloud private network with only one Cloud VPN service. Another benefit is that you can run servers with private IPs only and still enable your customers to use your services over the Internet.
2.Cloud VPN MultiSite
Cloud VPN MultiSite enables private LAN networks from branches or offices located anywhere in the world to securely connect to your cloud private network via an internet-connected VPN router. Once connected, any computers or hosts behind the VPN router can access your cloud and dedicated servers, as well as metro Ethernet endpoints, using their private IP addresses.
It can also be used as a hub & spoke VPN solution. In this case, multiple different LAN networks from anywhere in the world (spokes) connect to Cloud VPN MultiSite (hub), enabling secure encrypted communication between all hosts within these different networks.
Additionally, it supports VPN connections from individual computers or smartphones that are not part of the private LAN networks, such as those working from home, enabling them secure private communication with all other connected LAN networks and servers in the cloud.
3.Cloud Fiber Line
The
Cloud Fiber Line integrates the LAN networks of your physical offices with your Cloud Private Network, using direct cable connections to your sites via a fiber network that operates independently of the Internet.
Once integrated, computers and other IT devices in your offices can access virtual private servers, dedicated servers, and other Metro Ethernet endpoints over a secure connection that does not use the Internet, established via direct fiber cable.
Each office location is connected through high-speed fiber optic lines with guaranteed bandwidth. The lines terminate at an Ethernet interface, enabling easy integration of different networks using well-known Ethernet switching/routing devices.
The primary effect is substantial cost savings by sharing your storage, applications, and other IT resources across multiple locations.
4.Cloud NAT Gateway
Your virtual servers that have only private IP addresses can use the
Cloud NAT Gateway service to establish inbound and outbound connections to the Internet.
It enables backend applications to access the Internet, like for installation or updates of software libraries, without exposing them to public access. In addition, it enables public access to your web apps placed behind NAT on custom-defined ports, which enhances security by reducing the attack surface.
5.Web Console
The
Web Console is a free tool that provides a direct interface to your cloud servers via any standard web browser. It simulates the experience of having physical access with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, enabling real-time interaction with the server.
This feature is primarily useful for temporary tasks such as installing an OS from ISO images or restoring IP-based server access after a firewall misconfiguration. The tool is accessible through the My Interspace control panel under your cloud server user interface.
