Web console connection

1.What is a Web Console?

The Interspace Cloud Platform offers a Web Console feature, enabling a direct interface to your server via any standard web browser. This feature replicates the experience of having physical access with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, allowing for real-time server interaction.

This feature is primarily useful for temporary tasks such as installing an OS from ISO images or restoring IP-based server access after a firewall misconfiguration.

2.Accessing the Web Console

To effectively use the Web Console, follow these steps:

  • Opening the Console
Log into the My Interspace control panel. Navigate to the service tied to your server and select the Start/Stop/Console tab. Click the Open server console
button to establish a connection to your server's console. This provides a real-time view of the system's output. Note: The console is accessible only when the server is running.
  • Interacting with the Console
After accessing the console, make a mouse click within the console window to focus on it. This step is crucial to ensure the system registers your keyboard inputs.
