Trouble Booting Windows ISO Image

1.Question

When I try to install Windows operating system manually, using ISO image, the installer does not boot.

2.Solution

The solution involves clicking any button when a Windows message appears during the boot process, while making sure that the web console captures your clicks. Follow this specific sequence to make a successful boot from your Windows ISO image:

  • Power on Your Server
Turn on your server to initiate the virtual boot process.
  • Initiate a System Restart
Open the web console and click the button Ctrl+Alt+Del
located at the top of the screen. This command restarts the server, making the boot options available.
  • Engage with the Console During Boot
Make a mouse click within the console window to ensure it recognizes your keyboard inputs. This crucial step focuses your input on the console, allowing you to react to any prompts during the boot process.
  • Respond to the Windows Installer Prompt
When the message "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD/USB" appears, press any key. This instructs the system to boot from the device where the ISO is mounted, starting the Windows installation procedure.
